PQYSA FALL SOCCER 2009
WHAT: Penasquitos Youth Soccer Association (PQYSA) is proud to announce the upcoming Annual Fall Soccer League. This youth recreational league is designed to maximize FUN for all ages and for all experience levels, while continuing to promote soccer skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
WHO: All Boys and Girls between 5 and 18 years of age. No experience necessary.
WHERE/WHEN : All games will be played in Rancho Penasquitos area. Practices start after Aug 1st. The season runs from the weekend before Labor Day to the weekend before Thanksgiving. Time line for the season will be posted on the web site by June 30th.
WHY: The foundation of PQYSA is our RECREATIONAL PROGRAM, with 120 teams in seven different age divisions for the girls and nine different age divisions for the boys. Our program starts with Division 7 for players turning 5 by the end of that calendar year, and runs through Division 1 for players up to 18 years of age. The Division 3 teams may play teams from the surrounding area, based on the number of teams that are formed within PQYSA and the local communities. The Division 1 and 2 teams play A-level soccer in the Presidio League gaming circuit. The season ends with a Recreational Tournament, which is held before Thanksgiving, with medals going to the top teams in each Division.
HOW: Costs are:
U6 $110 per player
U7 - U12 $135 per player
U14 - U19 $140.00 per player
Registration deadline is June 15, 2009. There will be a $25 late fee for registrations received after June 15, 2009.
There are 3 ways you can sign up for PQYSA’s 2009 Fall Rec Program:
Method #1 – Walk up registration
Sunday, May 10 and Sunday May 17, we will be having walk up registrations at the Spring Soccer fields at Penasquitos Creek park (across from Park Village Elementary school) from 11:30 AM -4 PM.

Method #2 – Manual Registration
Go to www.calsouth.com/downloads/REG_1.pdf
* Fill in fields, print 2 copies of the completed form, sign and date the form and submit to: PQYSA, PO Box 720117, San Diego, CA, 92172 attn fall rec 09. Your payment must accompany your application. Credit cards can only be accepted via the on line system.

Method # 3 - On Line Registration

This will take you into the system for the on line registration. You will need to read the instructions and follow the prompts. If you have issues with the system, you may contact the Tech Support at the phone number to the left of the webpage. Alternately, you may contact the league registrar. See the webpage for contact information.
The online system will let you:
Volunteer to be a coach/AC or team parent
* Request a specific team (although not all requests will be honored)
* Update your personal info (ie – address, phone number, e-mail address)
* Pay by credit card or check (please note – a 5% convenience fee will be added automatically to credit card payments)

Please note:
· If your child did not play with PQYSA last year, you will need to submit a copy of their birth certificate.
· If you have paid by credit card, you should submit a copy of your payment receipt. Your card will not be charged until your child is accepted by the league.
· The system will print 2 copies of your registration form. Sign and date the forms. You will still need to either send them to the PO Box at: PQYSA, PO Box 720117, San Diego, CA, 92172, attn: fall rec 09 bring your completed forms to one of our walk up registrations (see #1)
Registration forms postmarked on or before June 15, 2009 will be guaranteed a spot on a team. Forms received after this date may be held on a waiting list and added if a spot becomes available.
