The foundation of PQYSA is our RECREATIONAL PROGRAM, with 120 teams in seven different age divisions for the girls and nine different age divisions for the boys. Our program starts with Division 7 for players turning 5 by the end of that calendar year, and runs through Division 1 for players up to 18 years of age.

 Recreational teams are formed in late June to early July, with practices beginning on our after August 1^st of each year. The 10 game season runs from the first weekend before Labor Day to the two weekends before Thanksgiving. All games for Divisions 4 through 7, as well as home games for Division 3, are at Black Mountain Middle School and Sunset Hills Elementary School. The home games for Divisions 1 and 2 are at Canyonside Park fields.

 The Division 3 teams may play teams from the surrounding area, based on the number of teams that are formed within PQYSA and the local communities. The Division 1 and 2 teams play A-level soccer in the Presidio League gaming circuit. The season ends with a Recreational Tournament, which is held before Thanksgiving, with medals going to the top teams in each Division.
